WHAT WE DO
CHILDREN'S FEET
As parents we will be concerned with the care of our children’s development including education, social behaviours, overall health, hygiene, disease prevention, etc, so as developing feet have to carry the weight of our body and the forces we place on them during a lifetime of activity, it stands to reason that we should see them as a priority.
It may be appropriate to visit your podiatrist to have your children’s feet assessed to prevent future problems from arising. Poor posture and balance can impact on a child’s mobility and confidence, while hypermobile, flat feet may lead to clumsiness, tripping, falling and even lack of confidence. This may prevent your child from playing sports or involving themselves in social activities.
